Caring Small Groups

Participation within a caring small group gives to our members a sense of belonging, and an opportunity to care and be cared for. We have two types of caring small groups: - Fellowship Groups and Focus Groups:

Many people no longer believe that there is any group that will truly accept, genuinely value, and sincerely care about them
~ Peter Storey ~

FELLOWSHIP GROUPS: meet regularly for Bible Study, Prayer, and Christian Friendship. Some groups meet in homes, others at the church. Some groups meet during the day, others meet in the evening. Some groups meet midweek, others over the weekend. Some groups are conducted in English, others in isiZulu. Some groups appeal to the old, others to the young. We encourage all our members to find the group that suits their needs, and join it! If you would like to join a fellowship group, please contact the church office.

FOCUS GROUPS: meet around a common task, and have a particular focus:

Women’s Auxiliary: The Women’s Auxiliary seeks to know Christ and make Him known. The W.A. meets at the church on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

Women’s Manyano: The Women’s Manyano stands for holiness of life, purity of speech and conduct, temperance, and service to the glory of God and for the extension of God’s Kingdom.

Choir: The choir sings twice a month in the 7h45 worship service. The Choir meets for practice on Thursday at 5h15.

Worship Band: Worship bands lead worship in the 9h30 and 18h30 worship services.

Disciple Bible Study: Disciple is a 33-week in depth study of the whole Bible.

Study Courses: such as Alpha and Manna and Mercy, are offered periodically

Confirmation: Our Confirmation programme prepares our mid-teens for the service confirming the vows taken at their baptism.
